About Us

Crouse Lumber Lima is a vestige of another era — your local, neighborhood lumberyard. Located at 333 East Market St Lima, Ohio, a lumber yard has  has operated at this location since 1897, making it one of Lima's oldest lumberyards. Starting back in 1897 with the Holland & Moulton Co., this spot has held many different lumber companies over the years.

Crouse Lumber Co. 1970 - 2016

In 1975 a fire destroyed most of the two storie building loacated on the north side of this lot at its then address of 340 East High Street. When Tuttle Lumber rebuilt the current building on the south side of the lot to address changed to current address of 333 East Market Street. 


This privately owned business was acquired in 2016 by Businessman Marvin Schwartz, owner of 501 Metals in Hume.
